Stephen McMaster is the Microsoft Subject Matter Expert of Ready Solutions and Alliances at Dell Technologies. Steve’s SME alignment covers Storage Spaces Direct Ready Nodes/HCI/WSSD/Azure Stack HCI, SQL Ready Solutions, and Azure Stack. In Steve’s 20+ years with Dell Technologies in sales management and strategy, his current role is focused on global go-to-market strategy and enablement including, in depth training of sales and support groups, enablement actions in all regions around the globe, technical alliances interaction with Microsoft, sales enablement for channel partners and solution integrators, and portfolio positioning in executive sessions. In this global role, Steve has travelled extensively around the world including - Japan, Australia, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, UK, Sweden, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Canada, and almost every state across the U.S.
Prior to assuming his current role, Steve was Global Alliances Director supporting the Microsoft ISG Relationship for Dell; directed G500 and Commercial TSR organizations, managed G500 and Commercial Software and Peripherals organizations, Account Executive for Commercial Business - KC, and numerous technical sales roles.
Steve provides a unique blend of customer insight within a Microsoft point of view, with exceptional sales and strategy experience, a broad understanding of Dell EMC’s global business strategy as well as it’s alignment to Microsoft’s global business strategy, and a passion for people, innovation, and real-world solutions. Steve, a proud Texas A&M alumnus, is married to Elizabeth and they have three children, Lauren, Nathan, and Calvin.
