Last week, I posted regarding what you'll find out about in Doug Iler’s iDRAC hands on lab. This week, I reached out to Virtualization Product Specialist and five-time VMware vExpert Jason Boche regarding a virtualization focused Hands on Lab he’ll be leading at the DellWorld 2015 Enterprise User Forum this October 20th-22nd

Jason is hosting an instructor-led demo on Dell Storage Center best practices using VMware vSphere 6. In the lab, attendees can expect to learn how to use Live Volume architecture and new Storage Center 6.7 features to boost datacenter availability and adaptability. I reached out to Jason to get a better idea of the session he’s leading.

What are the top three takeaways participants expect to extract from your session?

  1. We will review Live Volume architecture and talk about the use cases for solving today’s business challenges.
  2. Attendees will become familiar with what’s new with Live Volume in Storage Center 6.7.
  3. We will talk about how the new Live volume features in Storage Center 6.7 can be used to provide a higher level of availability for vSphere environments.

What challenges will you be addressing in your session?

When an unexpected disaster strikes, today’s modern business demands immediate recovery and persistent uptime. New high availability features introduced in Storage Center 6.7 allow aggressive RPO and RTO demands to be satisfied.

Who will benefit from attending your session?

vSphere customers looking to design for and provide higher levels of availability for planned or unplanned datacenter events will benefit from this session.
