Chris Sullivan Named a 2014 CRN Channel Chief

2013 was a big year for the VCE channel program. We expanded our commitment to the channel—launching a new value-based VCE™ Partner Program, creating VCE Service and Solution specializations for solution providers, enabling partners with incentives and demand generation programs as well as introducing new Vblock Systems designed specifically for the channel to increase market opportunity. VCE also focused on specific regions by expanding its reach into Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ).

As a testament to our success, I’m excited to announce that Chris Sullivan, VCE vice president of global channels and investor alliances, has been named one of CRN’s 2014 Channel Chiefs as well as one of CRN’s 50 Most Influential Channel Chiefs. Chris is responsible for developing a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for VCE, leading the company’s global channels program and building alignment with its investor partners – Cisco, EMC and VMware – in addition to other business partners.

We’re proud to have Chris join this prestigious list of the most powerful leaders in the IT channel. CRN’s Channel Chiefs recognizes executives directly responsible for driving channel sales and growth within their organization, while evangelizing the importance of the channel throughout the entire IT Industry.

“We are pleased to highlight the many executives throughout the industry who work tirelessly to advance the standing of the channel community within their organizations. The CRN Channel Chief honorees lead, inspire and engage peers and serve as valuable advocates to help ensure the health and longevity of the channel within the IT industry.   We applaud their efforts and look forward to their continued success,” said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company.

Chris was selected based on his extensive channel experience, program innovations, channel-driven revenue, and public support for the importance of IT channel sales. The success VCE has achieved in each of these areas shows our strong momentum in the channel, and as we push forward into 2014, we’ll continue to deliver world-class products, programs and support to our partners.
