Heroes Exchanges Closes FY19H1 with a Bang in EMEA

We are excited to close H1 here in EMEA with record numbers of partners attending Heroes Exchange events all over the region! Our Partner SEs have had the chance to expand their technical knowledge of Dell EMC products and solutions with a particular focus on Primary Storage, HyperConverged & Data Protection.

Most attendees return to consecutive sessions in their respective cities because this helps them to keep up with the never-ending pace of technology evolution quarter over quarter and to enhance their understanding of our product portfolio. Jean Gedeon, a Pre-sales Engineer from BMB based out of Lebanon said, “Because there is a continuity in information from one event to another, I feel that my knowledge is evolving.”

The purpose of the Heroes Exchanges is to give our partners the most up-to-date information on our products and this model has been successful in EMEA. Our partner feedback from the region show that they appreciate the program concept and are able to succeed in their role because of these regular events. The application of the learned technologies has a direct impact on their companies’ as well as on Dell EMC revenue. We treat our Heroes community members as if they are Dell EMC employees.

“I attend Heroes events to get an update on the latest technologies released from Dell EMC and understand the benefits this gives to our customers and how we can use them to beat our competitors. Also the chance to question Dell EMC SMEs is valuable in helping us further understand Dell EMC solutions.”Imran Arshad -Block Solutions

In addition, to the technical sessions, partners are also able to network with other partners and gain real world knowledge about Dell EMC products and solutions from their experiences while sharing their own. Our recent growth numbers are a great proof that the focus on Storage Technologies is paying off!

Looking ahead to H2, EMEA will be hosting more events throughout the region adding new cities in Q3 and Q4. We are expecting to have more than 5,000 attendees in FY19 increasing from 4,000 in FY18. Heroes Events are essential to our partners’ success and our partner community is essential to our success. This program has the ability to touch all our partners in a way that no other partner program has ever done before.
