Optimizing your SAP application resources to meet critical SLAs has never been more challenging. But did you know that storage is just as critical as software when it comes to improving your overall performance metrics?
Find out if you have a storage bottleneck at our next XtremIO webinar: Redefining SAP Landscapes with All-Flash Arrays.
If you followed EMCs latest earning report , Q4/2014 (http://www.emc.com/ir), one thing is clear… XtremIO is a rocket ship! The slide on the right is part of the webcast presentation; the first bullet is just remarkable.

“Fastest Growing Product in EMC History”. When you consider all of the products and all of the EMC acquisitions over the years, being the fastest growing product is incredible. Interestingly enough, all of these accomplishments happened in just over a year, since XtremIO GA back in November 2013.
IDC confirms our suspicion… EMC is #1 in Flash Market Share! But the real story is the bigger picture…
IDC recently released the “Worldwide All-Flash and Hybrid Flash Array Market: 1H2014 Vendor Shares and Market Outlook,”

Last week I participated in an “#InsideFlash” CrowdChat. Hosted by Wikibon’s Dave Vellante, CrowdChat is basically a virtual event where like-minded people can follow a specific hashtag to share ideas and thoughts on a topic. The #InsideFlash topic was specific to Flash and Oracle (Databases and/or Applications). Dave asked a series of questions allowing anyone to answer or add commentary. CrowdChat is a great format and a great engagement. Thanks for hosting, Dave.

Performance is the easy part; I’ll say it again, Architecture Matters. Without getting on my soap-box, Flash impacts every storage architectural model. Flash is everywhere.
Redefine Flash! EMCs Flash Strategy is Flash Everywhere, and architecture matters! Architecture Matters and Storage Architecture has mattered since the first ICDA (Integrated Cache Disk Array) was introduced by EMC in 1990, The Symmetrix 4200 ICDA. It’s interesting to watch the storage industry. New start-ups all claim to have some … READ MORE
