The best prevention: Deployment done right

Dell World always seems to mark some significant change in my career here at Dell. Last year, I had just joined the Dell Global Support & Deployment team to work on our Enterprise Support portfolio. Now, I’m working on Enterprise Deployment, which has deepened my understanding of our IT lifecycle services and how they combine to make it easy for you to achieve your business goals.

Recently, Jim Roth, Dell Global Support & Deployment Product Group Executive Director, talked to Debbie Fischer at Outsourcing Center about keeping your IT healthy. Jim said:

Within our ProSupport Enterprise Suite, we have a robust support model that incorporates proactive capabilities and predictive modeling to lower the customer effort required to quickly address issues and even prevent problems from occurring in the first place.

Our internal data tells us that customers who use Dell Deployment Services have fewer issues. With extensive deployment experience, our highly skilled experts have identified best practices to optimize your IT infrastructure so you can transform your IT investments into strategic advantages. You could say that if prevention is the best support, then deployment done right is the best prevention.

This year, I’m supporting our hands-on deployment lab (HOL7, “Simplifying the configuration and deployment of converged infrastructures with Dell’s new technology and solutions”). Here, you can hear about our IT lifecycle services (consulting, deployment, education, and support) from Product Manager Joseph Frederick, and then enjoy a deep dive into deployment with Systems Integration Consultant Rui Da Rosa.

From servers to storage to networking, Rui will share his 20+ years of expertise to help you proactively manage your existing infrastructure as well as adopt and efficiently implement new technology with confidence. Bring your questions and grab a seat at one of these lab sessions:

  • Wednesday 8:30 a.m., noon, 1:30 p.m., and 3:00 p.m.
  • Thursday 8:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m.
