VMware Horizon 6: another great leap forward

Dell and VMware have a long-standing and strong alliance, focused on helping customers achieve their IT goals with integrated virtualization solutions that are flexible, scalable and high- performance, all while simplifying operations and reducing total cost of ownership (TCO). With the partnership enabling both companies to work smarter through collaboration and ingenuity, our joint customers are the ultimate beneficiaries.

In the past year, Dell and VMware have partnered on solutions for 3D graphics through desktop virtualization, improved user density through software innovation and hardware advances, certified virtual desktop solutions through HTML5 Access Agent and expanded the portfolio of VMware optimized Dell Wyse thin clients. We plan on growing and expanding the alliance to continue providing new joint solutions that meet the requirements of rapidly evolving customer environments.

This year, the strong Dell-VMware relationship was also evidenced when VMware named Dell their OEM Global Partner of the Year at VMware Partner Exchange (PEX) in February. Our history of teaming on certified validated and proven desktop virtualization solutions that blend Dell datacenter hardware, end points, software and services with VMware technology, continues today.

Dell would like to congratulate VMware on its latest release of VMware Horizon 6.The new solution addresses the growing need for organizations to optimize desktop management with robust desktop and application virtualization solutions through a unified workspace, with hybrid-cloud flexibility.
