What does it spell? ORACLE

Overflowing Red

If you’re going to Oracle OpenWorld next week, chances are you’re already planning your schedule for the busy few days ahead. And if you’ve never been, get ready for a conference packed with information, activities, networking and a lot of, well, red. Oracle really does it up, coating the Moscone Center and the surrounding area in its bright signature color.

Rousing Speeches

A powerful lineup of keynote speakers is on the conference schedule, including Michael Dell, who on Tuesday morning will be talking about how Dell is leading the way in providing true innovation for organizations of all shapes and sizes. You can find the schedule for his keynote, and many others, on the schedule page.

Action-Packed Booths

But it’s not all about the speeches. There will be lots of opportunity to see our latest server, storage, and networking solutions and meet our subject matter experts on the floor of the Moscone Center. This year we will have booths in Moscone South and Moscone West, so you can’t miss us! Be sure to stop by, say hello, and get a peek at what Dell has to offer. Check out Susie Grandi’s post for more detail about the booths.

Captivating Sessions

There are some amazing sessions this year, too many to mention in fact. No matter what your interest, there’s something for you to learn at OOW. Jeff Sullivan from the TechCenter put together a fantastic list of Dell sessions here.

Life-Sustaining Juice

Be sure to stop by for our tweetup on Tuesday from 2-3 pm at the Dell-sponsored juice bar in Yerba Buena Gardens. Meet some of the folks behind the Dell/Oracle partnership, and score yourself a stylish (and slimming!) DTC T-shirt while supplies last.

Effortless Streaming

Not going to San Francisco? Don’t despair. Oracle is offering coverage of OpenWorld keynotes, plus much more, streaming live on YouTube. So be sure to tune in for Michael Dell’s keynote presentation as well as any of the other terrific speakers you might like to see. I’ll be watching too, unless I decide to climb into Susie’s suitcase at the last minute.

For more ideas for things to do while at OOW, I recommend checking out Oracle’s blog for the conference – it’s packed with the latest information on events both on- and off-site.

Have fun, and be sure to share your experiences with us!
